As with most tools, cookies are placed on browsers to help support the customer experience. When using the Groove offerings, cookies are used in a variety of ways. Here is a breakdown of what we apply and their details:

 

KB Tracking:

Cookies stored in the browser:

  • groove-kb-clientId - tracks the user, doesn't expire

  • groove-kb-sessionId - tracks the users session, expires after 30minutes

  • groove-kb-sessionStartedAt - tracks when groove-kb-sessionId was set

Groove Support Widget:

Stored in local storage not cookies:

  • {widgetId}-persistedState-global.tracker.session - tracks the users session, expires after 30 minutes

  • {widgetId}-persistedState-global.tracker.client - tracks the user, doesn't expire

  • {widgetId}-persistedState-global.tracker.company.handles, {widgetId}-persistendState-global.tracker.company.properties, and {widgetId}-persistendState-global.tracker.company.identifiedAs - tracks the crm company info

  • {widgetId}-persistedState-global.tracker.contact.handles, {widgetId}-persistendState-global.tracker.contact.properties, and {widgetId}-persistendState-global.tracker.contact.identifiedAs - tracks the crm contact info

  • {widgetId}-persistedState-global.tracker.sessionInformation - tracks summary of browsing history
